KNOW THE CONNECTION.

Privacy, plainly.

A small website should have a small data footprint. Visiting this site does not connect your wallet.

This page describes this website and summarizes the separate wallet services. The policy bundled with your app describes that version’s behavior.

This website

The site serves static HTML, CSS, and local images. It has no JavaScript, analytics scripts, tracking pixels, cookies, account registration, or contact forms. It does not request notification, camera, location, or wallet access. Fonts and images load from this website, not a third-party asset service.

Our hosting provider, Railway, and its network providers necessarily receive connection information such as your IP address, requested URL, browser headers, and request time. They may process or retain operational and security logs under their own policies. We do not claim that visiting this site is anonymous. The website server is configured without application access logging.

Following links

GitHub, Nexatrode, and the explorer are separate destinations. Following a link connects your browser to that destination, which can see your IP address and the page you requested. This site sends a Referrer-Policy: no-referrer header. It makes no background requests to the node, rates service, or explorer.

Wallet keys and nodes

NexaWal is self-custodial. Your seed and private keys are handled on your device; this website never asks for them. A remote Monero node can see your IP address and sync/broadcast metadata. Choosing a node you control can reduce reliance on a public operator. I2P node connections require a separately configured proxy; simply using NexaWal is not a promise of anonymity.

Optional fiat estimates

When enabled in the app, fiat estimates use https://rates.nexawal.com. Requests disclose your IP address and selected currency to the service and its hosting providers. Wallet balances, addresses, seeds, and transaction history are not sent for rate lookups. These requests use clearnet HTTPS even when your wallet’s node connection uses I2P. Turn estimates off if you do not want those requests.

Platform policies

Read the current source copies below, or the offline policy included with your installed app:

Keep private data private

Never send a recovery seed, private key, wallet cache, or unredacted wallet diagnostics in a public issue. We cannot restore a lost seed or reverse a transaction. Project information is available through Nexatrode LLC and the app repositories.
